Open Face Channel Letters
This product, constructed with aluminum returns and either ACM or aluminum backs, is akin to front-lit channel letters. It’s perfectly suited for neon and marquee signage, and can be customized with or without electrical components. Although DSW doesn’t manufacture neon or marquee signs, we do produce open face letters for those who do. These letters can feature a two-color effect, with a standard color raceway on the outside and a different color, usually white, on the inside. They can also be painted a single color. In certain instances, customers may opt for a clear acrylic face and trim cap to safeguard the internal electrical components, while preserving the retro aesthetic. Like other channel letters, they can be flush mounted or installed on raceways, wireways, and backplates as per customer request.

Available in a variety colors and with the option of painting. Custom coil is available at most depths for large quantity orders.
Backplates are routed and contoured based on electronic file to ensure accuracy and integrity with mounting pattern, and can be custom painted. All jobs come with 1/4″ 20 zinc coated threaded rod and rivnuts.
We can produce high quality custom painted raceways, extruded raceways, and wireways of various sizes, that also works well with backplates and logos.
Most fonts are producible by DSW but please note that some fonts, including script and fonts with serifs, may need to be adjusted due to smaller stroke widths and sharper angles.
Minimum sizes range from 6”-8” inches depending on the complexity. Due to shipping constraints and integrity of the product, we can only do a single letter or logo up to 25’ in size.
DSW can color match and paint with most major brands including Matthews, Pantone, Benjamin Moore, and Sherwin Williams, as well as build other sign customizations.
