Trimless channel letters are a modern spin on LED signage, with it’s sleek design that can be used to show off your business and branding, as well as attract customers. They are built with no trim caps, allowing for the front and/or back acrylic to show past the raceway edge. They can be built using either mechanical fasteners, or epoxy chemical adhesive. Because they don’t have the additional stability that trim caps provide, it is recommended that trimless signage be used in a location that is more protected outside, or for interior use, like casinos, malls, airports and other various venues.
While Trimless channel letters and signage can be used for outdoor use, the unique flare of the trimless edged glow, whether it be on the front, back, or both, creates a visual appeal that is most appreciated up close. Pending on the thickness of the acrylic, which can be done in 1/4″ (with an 1/8″ visible edge), or a 1/2″ (with an 1/4″ visible edge), each providing a smooth look. Adding colored vinyl or a digital print can also make it pop.

Trimless Channel Letters Offerings
Available in a variety colors and with the option of painting. Custom coil is available at most depths for large quantity orders.
Trimless faces and backs can be built using a 1/4″ or 1/2″ acrylic, pending on the amount of seam that extends from the edge of the raceway.
We utilize 3M 3630 vinyl for it’s high quality and consistency, available in several colors. We also can provide high quality 3M digital prints.
Backplates are routed and contoured based on electronic file to ensure accuracy and integrity with mounting pattern, and can be custom painted. All jobs come with 1/4″ 20 zinc coated threaded rod and rivnuts.
We can produce high quality custom painted raceways, extruded raceways, and wireways of various sizes, that also works well with backplates and contour logos.
This product can be stud mounted, as well as mounted using raceways, wireways and backer panels. Please note that a backer panel is recommended on raceways with halo lit products.
Standoffs are usually between 1/2 – 2″, but can be customized, as well as can be painted to match façade and provide a finished product housing for threaded rods.
We utilize high quality Principle LEDs, available in different colors, as well as RGBw’s, allowing for a unique and customizable look to your channel letter signs.
We are U.L. 48 Certified. All signage and material are built to this set of regulations. In certain areas local and NEC codes may supersede U.L. and we will need to be notified of those differences.
Most fonts are producible by DSW but please note that some fonts, including script and fonts with serifs, may need to be adjusted due to smaller stroke widths and sharper angles.
Minimum sizes range from 6”-8” inches depending on the complexity. Due to shipping constraints and integrity of the product, we can only do a single letter or logo up to 25’ in size.
DSW can color match and paint with most major brands including Matthews, Pantone, Benjamin Moore, and Sherwin Williams, as well as build other sign customizations.
